Young Adult Ministry
The St. Mary’s Young Adult Ministry is a group of adults in their twenties and thirties, single; married; with or without children. The fundamental objective of this group is to encourage young adults to participate in activities that focus on spiritual growth and a strong relationship with Jesus Christ. Activities hosted by the young adult ministry include small-group fellowship, Bible study, service and social activities.
Small-group fellowship focuses on the challenges of being Christian in a dynamic world. These groups are trusted, safe environments where members can grow as Christians, and Christ-like members of their families and communities. Bible study challenges young adults to cultivate a relationship with Christ through the knowledge of Sacred Scripture. Service activities include local and, hopefully, national, programs to assist our less fortunate neighbors. Social activities build strong, Christ-centered communities and allow young adults to have rewarding and life-giving forms of entertainment.
All aspects of the Young Adult Ministry play a crucial role in the growth of men and women. This group continues to search for new ways to spiritually feed hungry young adults.
