St. Mary’s Adult Choir
The St. Mary’s Adult Choir sings every 11:00 A.M. Mass, Feast Days and seasonal vespers. The choir sings the complete range of sacred liturgical music from Gregorian chant, 16th century Polyphony, to the modern day. In addition, the choir also leads in the singing of the hymns, the ordinary of the mass, responses, and chant the propers. On Feast Days and special occasions a choral mass by one of the great masters is sung.
The choir is composed of adults ages 16 and up. To participate, a simple placement audition is required.
Rehearsals are in Sacred Hall on Wednesday evenings from 7:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. with a warm-up on Sunday mornings at 10:00 A.M.
